National Mandate Party Rejects Questioning on Yudhoyono

TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta: The National Mandate Party spoke out on Friday (15/1) against the calls to summon President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono for a parliamentary probe on bank Century bail out. While Yudhoyono's party explicitly said will confront all effort to bring the president to the inquiry.The fifth largest party in the parliament with control over 46 of the 560 parliamentary seat said summon was not necessary at this stage. Golkar controls the second largest number of seat in the parliament with 106 seats.The Democratic Party also announced its plan in the scandal.
