TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The iconic rock band Bon Jovi is finally poised for a major return to the stage after a four-year hiatus. The group has officially announced the "Forever Tour", marking the return of lead vocalist Jon Bon Jovi following his extensive vocal cord surgery in 2022.
Comeback After Surgery
The journey back to the stage has been challenging for Jon Bon Jovi. His 2022 vocal cord surgery raised serious questions about his future as a singer, a struggle documented in the Hulu series Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story.
Now, after an extensive and grueling rehabilitation process, the rock legend is proving he's far from finished. His renewed spirit is palpable. Jon shared in a statement, as reported by Deadline, that he is "deeply grateful" to be able to sing again.
"Forever Tour" Dates and Venues
The "Forever Tour" is set to kick off in July 2026. The band has announced the first seven concert dates, starting with a special residency in the U.S. before heading across the Atlantic. This tour is their first since the 2020 'This House Is Not For Sale Tour,' marking a rare long break in the band's four-decade history.
The tour begins with four special shows at Madison Square Garden, New York, a historic venue pivotal to their career. Following the U.S. leg, they will play major stadium dates in the U.K. and Ireland.
