TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Authority of Nusantara Capital City (IKN) invited 60 State Civil Apparatus (ASN) to experience working in the new government center in East Kalimantan, expecting them to share their experiences with colleagues.
“The Work From IKN (WFI) program has been implemented multiple times since 2023 to provide ASN with an opportunity to experience working and witness firsthand the development atmosphere in Nusantara,” said Achmad Jaka Santos Adiwijaya, Secretary of the IKN Authority, in Nusantara on Wednesday, August 28, 2024.
The current WFI programs, Batch IV and Batch V, are taking place in the IKN area from August 26-30, 2024. This initiative aims to introduce the work environment and daily life in Nusantara to ASN who will be relocating there.
The WFI program involves a learning process for facilitators, who are ASN, to combine knowledge, skills, and values through direct experiences in the Archipelago. These facilitators will then share their insights with other ASNs who will soon move to Nusantara.
It is hoped that these facilitators can gain a deep understanding of working in the new capital through firsthand experience and convey this knowledge to their colleagues.
IGA Krisna Murti RS, Head of the Bureau of Planning, Organization, and Cooperation of the IKN Authority and chairperson of the program’s committee, explained that participants in WFI Batch IV and V are facilitators assigned to provide supplies to ASN relocating to Nusantara.
“This WFI implementation involved a total of 60 facilitators divided into two batches, each consisting of 30 facilitators,” he said.
The facilitators represented 16 ministries/institutions, including the Supreme Court, Judicial Commission, Bappenas, and the Ministry of Home Affairs.
The opening of the event two days ago was attended by Acting Head of State Administration Agency (LAN) Muhammad Taufiq and Secretary of LAN RI Reni Suzanna.
This program is expected to provide a comprehensive understanding and experience of Nusantara, enabling ASNs to prepare effectively for their transition to the new capital city of Indonesia.
