Middle East Conflict: List of Airlines Around the World that Suspend Flights to the Region

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Concerns over a wider conflict in the Middle East have prompted international airlines to suspend flights to the region or to avoid affected air space.
Below are some of the airlines that have adjusted services to and from the region:
1. Aegean Airlines
The Greek airline canceled all its flights to and from Beirut, Amman, and Tel Aviv until August 19, 2024.
2. Air Algerie
The Algerian airline temporarily suspended flights to and from Lebanon until further notice.
3.AirBaltic
Latvia's airBaltic canceled all flights to and from Tel Aviv until August 18.
4. Air India
The Indian flag carrier suspended scheduled flights to and from Tel Aviv until further notice.
5. Air France-KLM
Air France extended the suspension of flights between Paris and Beirut until August 14. Its Dutch arm KLM canceled all flights to and from Tel Aviv until October 26. Low-cost unit Transavia canceled flights to and from Tel Aviv until March 31, 2025.
6. Cathay Pacific
Hong Kong-based Cathay Pacific canceled all flights to Tel Aviv until March 27, 2025.
7. Delta Air Lines
The U.S. carrier extended the suspension of flights between New York and Tel Aviv until August 31.
8. EasyJet
The UK budget airline stopped flying to and from Tel Aviv in April and will resume flights on March 30, 2025, a spokesperson said.
9. Finnair
The Finnish airline continues to not use Iranian airspace for its routes, which may extend flight times to and from Doha.
10. ITA Airways
Italy's ITA Airways extended the suspension of flights to and from Tel Aviv through August 15, it wrote on its official X account
11. Lufthansa Group
The German airline group which also includes Swiss Air Lines and Austrian Airlines extended its avoidance of Iranian and Iraqi airspace and said it would suspend flights to and from Tel Aviv, Tehran, Beirut, Amman, and the Iraqi city of Erbil through August 21.
12. RYANAIR
Europe's biggest budget airline canceled flights to and from Tel Aviv until August 26 citing "operational restrictions".
13. SunExpress
SunExpress Airlines, a joint venture between Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa, canceled all flights to Beirut until August 14.
14. Singapore Airlines
The Singaporean airline stopped flying over Iranian airspace and is using alternative routes.
15. TAROM
Romania's flag carrier extended the suspension of flights to Tel Aviv, Amman, and Beirut until August 16.
16. United Airlines
The Chicago-based airline suspended flights to Tel Aviv for the foreseeable future. It had suspended daily service between Newark, New Jersey, and Tel Aviv on July 31 citing security reasons.
17. Vueling
Spanish low-cost airline Vueling, owned by IAG, canceled all flights to Tel Aviv and Amman until October 26.
18. Lebanese Airspace Alerts
Britain advised UK airlines not to enter Lebanese airspace from August 8 until November 4 citing "potential risk to aviation from military activity."
