1. Top 10 Most Beautiful Countries in the World on Forbes' Radar
Have you ever planned a trip to the most beautiful countries in the world? Fortunately, Indonesians do not have to voyage far and wide, as the country takes the crown as the home to the most breathtaking natural beauty spots, according to Forbes.
Indonesia, which boasts a natural beauty score of 7.77 out of 10, has more than 17,000 islands. “And just off the shores of these islands, you’ll find over 31,000 square miles of coral reef, teeming with life, much of which can be explored from the popular province of Bali,” said Sal Haqqi, personal finance editor at money.co.uk. as quoted from Forbes.
2. KPU: Prabowo-Gibran Leads Votes in Jakarta
The General Elections Commission (KPU) has approved the recapitulation of votes for the 2024 Presidential Election in Jakarta Province, which Prabowo-Gibran led. The vote recapitulation was officially ratified by the KPU Chairman Hasyim Asy'ari during today’s plenary meeting at the KPU HQ, Central Jakarta.
“That's the reading of the recapitulation of the votes in Jakarta. Is it acceptable? Bismillah, it's valid,” Hasyim said as he banged the gavel on Tuesday, March 12.
Prior to the ratification, the Chairman of the Jakarta KPU, Wahyu Dinata, presented the vote results for the 2024 presidential election. He said that the presidential and vice presidential candidate pair number 01 Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar received 2,653,762 votes.
3. Bappenas Ready to Include Free Lunch Program in Medium-term Plan
Deputy for Human, Community, and Cultural Development of the National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas), Amich Alhumami, stated that the proposed free lunch program will be incorporated into the National Medium Term Development Plan (RPJMN) 2024-2029, following the official announcement by the General Election Commission (KPU) declaring Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka as the victor of the 2024 Presidential Election.
“If the presidential and vice presidential candidates (Prabowo-Gibran) clinch the presidency and vice-presidency, they will implement this program during the 2024-2029 government tenure. This program is a reference point for the RPJMN, which Bappenas is tasked with managing,” Amich told Tempo by phone on Monday, March 11.
