Police Implement Contraflow in Cipali Toll to Anticipate Holiday Traffic

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - West Java regional police are implementing traffic diversion today, Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2023, on the Cikopo-Palimanan toll road or Cipali toll road heading to Jakarta starting 02:00 p.m. to 00:00 a.m. WIB (Western Indonesia Time) to anticipate year-end holiday traffic.
The traffic diversion started at the gate of Palimanan toll road KM (kilometer) 188 to the gate of Main Cikampek toll road KM 72.
The police will implement a two-way contraflow on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road heading to Jakarta starting KM 72-KM 47. Meanwhile, a one-way contraflow started at KM 47-KM 36.
Vehicles from Bandung heading to Cirebon could use the Ciseumdawu toll road and exit from Ujung Jaya, Majalengka, Cirebon, or Palimanan 3.
Meanwhile, vehicles that are driving on the one-way route could exit through the gate interchange in Sumber Jaya, Ciseumdawu, Subang, Kertajati, Cikedung, Kalijati, and Cikopo.
"The contraflow is situational under the police's discretion," wrote the National Police's NTMC account on the social media platform X.
Police also urge travelers to stay vigilant and abide by officers' instructions.
