TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko Widodo or Jokowi will visit the Nusantara capital city or IKN in East Kalimantan tomorrow in a 2-day visit. The state leader will lead a groundbreaking for several projects.
IKN Authority in a written statement mentioned that the president will start the groundbreaking of phase 3 development with a focus on green areas, the axis of the nationhood ecosystem, and state agencies financed outside of the State Budget.
"The groundbreaking is intended to motivate others to start their development [in IKN]," Jokowi said when met in Bogor today.
The deputy of financing and investment of the IKN Authority Agung Wicaksono explained that the phase 3 groundbreaking and development will spend around Rp10 trillion.

IKN Authority claimed to have bagged 328 letters of intention (LoI) until Dec. 15 with 55 percent being domestic investors. Thus far, Singapore, Japan, China, and Malaysia have submitted the most LoI to invest in IKN.
