Village Governance Acting DG at the Home Affairs Ministry Urges Villages to Innovate

TEMPO.CO, Kendari - Acting Director General of Village Governance (Bina Pemdes) at the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri), La Ode Ahmad P Bolombo, has called on village officials to bring forth innovations to advance their villages. Currently, there is a lot of new information and technologies that can help innovations in villages.
In a press release from Bina Pemdes, it was mentioned that La Ode's encouragement was conveyed at the closing of the 2023 Village Officials and Village Institutional Management Capacity Enhancement Training, Batch XI in Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi, on Tuesday, November 14, 2023.
La Ode explained various ways that must be done to make villages advanced, independent, and prosperous.
"All competencies, understandings from village officials, must collaborate, synergize, work together, everything must be directed at how villages can be productive," he said.
Moreover, he added, currently, the government at the central, provincial, and district levels are all taking care of villages.
He also hopes that there will be complete data on villages in the future. "Data that reports the actual conditions," he added.
Meanwhile, the Secretary of the Directorate General of Village Governance (Sesditjen Bina Pemdes), Paudah, outlined that the training target in Sulawesi Tenggara Province for 2023 is a total of 1,476 villages or 5,904 people.
However, the villages that participated in the training amounted to 1,473 villages or 99.79%. There were 5,730 people out of 5,904, or 97.05% attendance.
Furthermore, the speakers at the training were directed to provide materials on leadership and entrepreneurship.
