TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - State-owned Bank Mandiri recorded third party funds of Rp1,430.13 trillion in the first semester of 2023. According to the bank's president director Darmawan Junaidi, the figure shows an 8.47 percent year on year (yoy) growth from the previous semester's Rp1,318 .42 trillion.
"Savings consolidated growth reached 5.80 percent yoy to Rp552.4 trillion and consolidated current accounts rose 21.2 percent yoy to Rp497.6 trillion," Darmawan said in a press conference on Monday, July 31.
Darmawan said the achievements are inseparable from the digital transformation carried out by Bank Mandiri. One of them is through the banking app services Livin' and Kopra by Mandiri. Both, he said, contributed to TPF growth, especially the significant low-cost funds.
Livin' by Mandiri, he said, has managed more than 1.3 billion transactions with a total value of Rp1,500 trillion, or up by 43.4 percent (yoy). As of mid-year, the app has been downloaded more than 28.5 million times, with the number of users reaching 19.2 million.
"The digital transformation carried out by Bank Mandiri has succeeded in contributing significantly to financial performance with a trend that continues to improve," Darmawan said.
