Samuel Sekuritas Predicts IDX Composite Reaches 6,900 After Correction Today

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - PT Samuel Sekuritas Indonesia predicted that today's IDX Composite to reach 6,900 after the correction. "The index yesterday created a doji pattern at resistance level which allows a short-term correction to 6,770. But the ongoing pattern since May 2023 allows a theoretical rise up to 6,900," said Muhammad AlFatih, Vice President of Samuel Sekuritas in his statement on Friday, July 14, 2023.
Samuel Sekuritas reviewed 4 trade stocks today. First, BBNI, which closed at 8,900, is the weakest since May 2023. "Confirmation on the bearish triangle pattern. The theoretical decline is targeted at 8,800. A rise surpassing 9,025 will decrease the bearish sentiment," said AlFatih.
The second one is ESSA which closed at 680. AlFatih revealed the issuer share strengthen yesterday. He believed that it increased the chance to form a triangle pattern, a theoretical increase from the May to July 2023 period from 735 to 800 and up to 865. The risk floors at 635.
The third one is INDF which closed at 7,450. The theoretical increase is around 7,750 to 8,000. The risk floors are less than 7,400. "If it manages to stay above the supply area at a consistent 7,525, it will create a bullish continuation pattern," AlFatih explained.
Lastly, MIKA closed at 2,840. MIKA reached its highest peak since May 2023. "It created a bullish triangle pattern with theoretical increase targeted from 2,935 to 3,050 and then 3,200. Meanwhile, the risk floors at less than 2,780," AlFatih said.
