Promoters Warn Coldplay Concert Goers of Unofficial Ticket Purchasing Services

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Promotors of Coldplay concert, PK Entertainment and Third Eye Management (TEM), speak up about the rising number of unofficial ticket-purchasing services, known as Jastip. These offers circulating on social media since the concert promoter officially announced the ticket prices of the British band's concert.
"We do not recommend this type of offer," TEM said in its official Instagram post on Thursday, May 11.
PK Entertainment and TEM asserted that they do not recommend the offer of such a purchasing service, mentioning one of the Instagram accounts that offer the jastip @coldplayfansindonesia.
The team of the account said it plans to make a group of trusted purchasing services or jastip. They said they would sort and select the jastip providers based on their qualifications. The account also invited jastip providers to contact them via Instagram direct message.
The promoters warned that the official ticket purchase could only be accessed through coldplayinjakarta.com. PK Entertainment and TEM asserted that there is no partnership between the promoters and other ticket-purchasing services.
Ticket purchase is only via the official website, just to watch the concert, they underlined. The promoters do not responsible for any losses due to the ticket purchase outside of the official ticketing channel.
"Therefore, ticket purchases are prohibited from being used for matters other than its designation without prior written approval from PK Entertainment, both commercially and non-commercially," wrote the promoter.
Coldplay's Music of The Spheres will be held on November 15 at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, Jakarta. There are 11 categories for the official ticket announced by the promoters.
The prices range from Rp800,000 to Rp11 million. The presale will be opened on May 17-18, starting at 10:00 Jakarta time, while the public on-sale will be on May 10 at 10:00.
