TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has questioned a member of the Jakarta DPRD from the PDIP faction, Cinta Mega, regarding the alleged corruption case for land acquisition in Pulogebang, East Jakarta. KPK spokesman Ali Fikri said that Cinta Mega's investigation was to investigate the land procurement budget for the House with a zero rupiah DP.

Ali said that Cinta Mega was questioned on Wednesday, April 26, regarding her capacity as a member of the Jakarta DPRD in 2014-2019.

Cinta Mega, Ali said on Thursday, was questioned by KPK investigators about land acquisition in Pulogebang. One of them, he said, was the matter of budgeting for land acquisition in the DPR.

"The witness was present and questioned by the investigation team, including questions about the discussion of the budget for the capital investment for the Province of Jakarta in PD Sarana Jaya," Ali said in a written statement.

He also said that Cinta Mega was also asked about the flow of funds in the land acquisition process.

Previusly, the KPK has investigated five former members of the Jakarta DPRD during the 2014-2019 term. They are Prasetyo Edi Marsudi (PDI-P faction), James Arifin Sianipar (NasDem Party faction) and Ichwan Jayadi (United Development Party faction), Ruslan Amsyari (Hanura faction), and Santoso (Democrat Party faction).

The Pulogebang land acquisition corruption case is a development of the Munjul land acquisition corruption case, which implicated Yoory Corneles Pinontoan, former president director of Sarana Jaya (2016-2021) at al. The two lands were purchased for a zero rupiah down payment housing program. PD Sarana Jaya acquired lands in Pulogebang in 2018-2019.

It is suspected that the purchase value of the two lands was marked-up, causing state losses. For the Munjul case, the Corruption Eradication Commission stated that the Jakarta administration lost up to Rp152 billion.

Yoory C. Pinontoan was convicted and sentenced to six years in prison plus a fine of Rp500 million.
