Indonesian Embassy in Astana and Tunis Held Gathering with Indonesian Citizens

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Indonesian Embassy in Astana organized an open house event at Wisma Indonesia on Friday, April 21, 2023. The event was attended by Indonesian nationals in Astana and other cities in Kazakhstan and Tajikistan.
"Hopefully, the gathering can strengthen our relationship as Indonesian citizens who conducted activities in Euroasia Kazakhstan," said the Indonesian Ambassador to Kazakhstan and Tajikistan Dr. M Fadjroel Rachman.
In accordance with inputs from Indonesian citizens concerning Indonesian cuisine, Wisma Duta provided traditional Indonesian cuisine, such as, opor ayam, rendang, rice, fried chili with chicken liver and bitter bean, siomay, shrimp crackers, and chili.
Guests can also enjoy traditional Indonesian snacks such as risol (risolle), kue lapis, kue bawang, cheese sticks, and peyek kacang.
The Embassy in Astana also held karaoke events, which was concluded with a group photo session.
Similarly, the Indonesian Embassy in Tunis held Eid Al-Fitr prayer and gathering event with Indonesian citizens in Tunisia on Saturday, April 22, 2023.
During the gathering event, the Indonesian Embassy for Tunisia Zuhairi Misrawi stated that Eid Al-Fitr is a moment for togetherness and happiness.
Today, we all conduct Eid Al-Fitr prayer to being a new chapter in our future life with the spirit of togetherness and happiness," said Ambassador Zuhairi in a written statement from the Embassy in Tunis received by Tempo on Sunday, April 23, 2023.
