Here are the Locations for the Driver's License Extension Mobile Service in Jakarta Today

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Those who wish to extend their Driver's License (SIM) can have the advantage of the mobile service for driver's license extension that was opened by the Directorate of Traffic of Metro Jaya Police at five locations in Jakarta today.

Metro Jaya Police through their Instagram account @tmcpoldametro in Jakarta, explained that this service is open from 08:00-14:00 WIB.

Here are the locations:

-East Jakarta: Grand Cakung Mall.

-South Jakarta : Kalibata Trilogy Campus.

-West Jakarta: LTC Glodok and Citraland Mall

-Central Jakarta: Taman Banteng Post Office

Those who wish to apply to extend their driver's license must bring an ID Card (KTP) along with the original driver's license with its photocopy, then fill out the application form and medical test at the location.

This mobile service for registering a driver's license only extends driver's license A (Car) and driver's license C (motorcycles) that are still valid.

Those with their driver's licenses that have already expired are directed to apply for a new driver's license at the police vehicle registration centre (Satpas) in Daan Mogot, West Jakarta.

For the renewal fees, based on Government Regulation Number 60 of 2016 concerning Non-Tax State Revenue, the price is about Rp80,000 for a driver's license A extension and Rp75,000 for a driver's license C extension.

While at the location of the mobile service for driver's license, people must follow the 5M health protocol, namely wearing masks, washing hands with soap and water, maintaining distance, avoiding crowds and limiting mobility and interaction.
