TEMPO.CO, South Tangerang - The South Tangerang Police Chief Adj. Commissioner Sarly Sollu guarantees the safety and security of the NCT 127 concert held at the ICE BSD from November 4 to November 5, 2022, following a recent threat directed to the event.
Sarly asserted that the concert will continue as planned. "We have met with the promoter and the committee and assured them to continue with the concert," said Sarly on Friday, November 4, 2022.
Police have mobilized bomb detection devices and K9 units and so far had found nothing suspicious.
The Indonesian National Police (Polri) Densus 88 anti-terrorist squad previously investigated the alleged suicide bomb threat at the concert location of the South Korean boy band, NCT 127, on Friday.
The threat was uploaded on Twitter by a user identified as @Ryuchalis. The Twitter account uploaded four pictures of a letter containing a bomb threat. One of the letters contained a plea that read "Help Me and My Family". The letter also reads that there are hundreds of TNT and TATP explosives weighing hundreds of grams that are ready to be used. In addition, the suicide bombing will also be carried out by 11 people using 3 cars.
