Health Ministry Launches Integrated Health Data Platform SATUSEHAT

27 July 2022 09:36 WIB

TEMPO.CO, JakartaThe Health Ministry launched the Indonesia Health Services (IHS) platform as the transformation and integration of national health data dubbed SATUSEHAT at Jakarta Raffles Hotel, Tuesday, July 26, 2022.

The platform was established in an effort to provide better health services through digital transformation.

“Today, we officially introduce SATUSEHAT as the name of Indonesia Health Services. It is a platform for integration and standardization of health data services in Indonesia,” said Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin in his remarks, Tuesday.

SATUSEHAT is a data connectivity, analysis, and service platform to support integration between applications and health care facilities. With the platform, patients will not have to fill out a new form when visiting other health facilities.

Patients can also get information about their health condition more transparently because their medical record at the hospital is noted digitally and safely with the consent of the data owner.

The platform is in line with the Health Ministry’s plan to transform the COVID-19 app, PeduliLindungi, into a public health application. “The functions [of the app] will keep growing from what was originally for handling the pandemic,” Budi remarked.
