Batik Air Open Routes Connecting Jakarta, Bali and India

TEMPO.CO, Tangerang - Malaysia-based airline Batik Air announced the opening of new international flights from Indonesia’s Jakarta and Bali to India that are set to begin on August 1, 2022.
“Batik Air will operate the latest generation and modern Boeing 737 series aircraft in providing premium services to all domestic and international networks,” said the low-cost carrier’s CEO Capt. Mushafiz Bin Mustafa Bakri in a written statement, Wednesday, June 29, 2022.
This new international route will connect two Indonesian cities, Jakarta and Bali, with two Indian cities, Mumbai and Kochi, via Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Tangerang, I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai, and Kochi International Airport.
The carrier offers special ticket rates for a one-way flight of the Jakarta-Mumbai route at Rp4,050,300, the Jakarta-Kochi route at Rp3,121,300, the Bali-Mumbai route at Rp4,389,300, and the Bali-Kochi route at Rp3,110,300
Mushafiz said Batik Air would always support programs of the government in each country, Indonesia, Malaysia, and India for the global economic recovery. “One of the efforts made by Batik Air is to add the destination cities, Mumbai and Kochi in India, to the international service map,” he said.
