West Lombok Opens Fast Boat Route of Nusa Penida-Senggigi

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The government of West Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), is determined to develop the regional tourism sector by opening fast boat routes from Lombok to Bali and vice versa.
The boat route connecting Senggigi and Nusa Penida and Klungkung of Bali or vice versa was commenced with a trial run attended by tourism actors and a number of regional officials.
Regent of West Lombok Fauzan Khalid also joined the trial of the boat with a capacity of 84 seats.
“The goal of opening the fast boat route is to provide more alternative tourist attractions for tourists and promote the beauty of islets in Sekotong areas, the coral and experiences it offers,” said Fauzan in West Lombok Regency, Sunday, June 12, 2022.
Fauzan also hoped that the opening of the Nusa Penida-Senggigi fast boat route would boost the number of tourist visits to the West Lombok Regency. “And drive other sectors so that they have an economic impact on the community,” he said.
