KAI Reoperates Bogor-Sukabumi Train Route Starting April 10

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - State railway company, Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI), reoperates the Pangrango train (KA Pangrango) route of Bogor - Sukabumi round trip starting tomorrow, April 10. The train was reactivated after the construction of the double track, revitalization of the station, and the completion of signaling issues.
KAI chief of public relations at the operational region I of Jakarta, Eva Chairunisa, said that the passengers can book the ticket through the KAI Access app. The ticket can also be obtained three hours before the departure at the locket in the station. "The promotion ticket right now is Rp45,000 for the economy seat and Rp80,000 for the executive class," said Eva in a written statement on Saturday, April 9.
KA Pangrango consists of two executive cars and four economy cars. The train serves three round trips every day from Bogor Paledang Station to Sukabumi Station. On this route, the train stops and passengers can get on and off at Batutulis, Maseng, Cigombong, Cicurug, Parungkuda, Cibadak, Karangtengah, Cisaat, and Sukabumi stations.
The KA Pangrango train started the operation on November 9, 2013, replacing the KA Bumi Geulis train which stopped the operation on December 15, 2012.
The following is the schedule of the trip of KA Pangrango from Bogor Paledang Station and Sukabumi Station:
Bogor Paledang Station
- Depart at 08:30, arrive in Sukabumi at 10:34
- Depart at 14:30, arrive in Sukabumi at 16:34
- Depart at 20:00, arrive in Sukabumi at 22:04
Sukabumi Station
- Depart at 05:30, arrive in Bogor Paledang at 07:34
- Depart at 11:30, arrive in Bogor Paledang at 13:34
- Depart at 17:00, arrive in Bogor Paledang at 19:04
Eva Chairunisa reminded the would-be passengers to abide by the travel regulations and the health protocols, as follows:
- Must provide the proof of first dose vaccination
- Not required to bring a certificate of negative rapid antigen test or RT-PCR results
- Passengers who are less than six years old are not required to be vaccinated and take the antigen test but must have a companion who meets the travel requirements.
- Passengers must wear three layers of mask
- Passengers must maintain the cleanliness of their hands, maintain physical distance, avoid crowds
- Passengers must be in good health condition and the body temperature must not be over 37.3 degrees Celsius.
