TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Sport events are now allowed to be held with spectators, announced Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan following today's limited meeting on the public mobility restrictions or PPKM policy evaluation limited meeting.
“It is on condition that the organizers must ensure that spectators have received booster vaccinations and use PeduliLindungi app,” said Luhut at an online press conference on Monday, March 7.
Though spectators are allowed to attend games, Luhut said the capacity is limited according to the PPKM level in the area where the event is held. For areas under PPKM Level 4, the maximum capacity is 25 percent, Level 3 is 50 percent, Level 2 is 75 percent, and Level 1 is 100 percent.
Luhut also announced that the government dismissed the antigen or PCR test requirement for domestic travelers. However, this policy only applies to people who have completed the primary vaccination course.
“This is stipulated in circulars by the relevant ministries and institutions that will be published in the near future,” said Luhut.
