Jakarta Governor to Announce PSBB Status before Monday

TEMPO.CO , Jakarta - Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan said the capital city administration will evaluate the COVID-19 restrictions, locally known as a large-scale social restriction or PSBB , today, October 10, 2020, which will end on Sunday, October 11.
Anies stated he will soon announce if the city will extend or stop the social restriction after today’s meeting.
“We’ll show the data when we announce the status,” the Governor said Saturday, October 10.
The former Education Minister promised to provide data on the evaluation of the PSBB in the past four weeks. The decision to extend or stop the COVID-19 restriction will be announced before Monday, October 12.
Anies Baswedan said he has received the data and reported it to the central government.
