TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Metro Police Chief of public relations Senior Commissioner Yusri Yunus said his office planned to summons musician Erdian Aji Prihartanto alias Anji and Hadi Pranoto for questioning as witnesses based on the police report submitted by Muannas Alaidid.

“We've scheduled [the examination] next week; we'll summons owner of Youtube account 'Dunia Manji', a public figure with initial A, and HP,” Yusri said Thursday, August 6.

The Police, Yusri went on, would also summons expert witnesses from the Indonesian Medical Association (IDI) and IT experts for their testimonies. Muannas has previously reported Anji and Hadi Pranoto to the police under the allegation of spreading hoax in the video content of a YouTube account, Dunia Manji.

Muannas argued Hadi Pranoto's claim in the video was widely opposed by the academicians, Indonesian Medical Association (IDI), Health Minister Terawan Agus Putranto, influencers, and the general public. Such a statement, he added, has the potential to create a public uproar.

Meanwhile, Hadi Pranoto said he planned to report Muannas back to the police. He reportedly also planned to demand compensation of US$10 million from Muannas. “Well, we'll see,” said the police via a phone call two days ago.
