645 Remain Hospitalized at Wisma Atlet Ahead of 'New Normal'

 TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Ahead of the government’s plan to introduce the ‘new normal’ phase, there remains 645 patients currently treated at the Wisma Atlet COVID-19 emergency hospital as of Tuesday, June 2. 

The hospital’s spokesperson, Marine Colonel Aris Mudian announced that the inpatients comprise 397 male patients and 248 female patients. 

Out of all the inpatients, Mudian said 608 of them have been confirmed positive for COVID-19. However, Tuesday’s inpatients is 13 less compared to Monday where 621 were listed by the Wisma Atlet hospital. 

There are 37 people under monitoring (PDP) while there are zero patients declared as people under monitoring (ODP) in the facility that officially operated since March 23, 2020. 

In total, the Wisma Atlet Hospital has treated 4,148 COVID-19 patients with 126 referred to other hospitals and 2,399 recoveries, while three people have died during treatment in the hospital.
