Gerindra Party Commences Crucial Presidential Election Meeting

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Cadres of the Great Indonesia Movement (Gerindra) Party have flocked Sentul International Convention Center (SICC), Bogor, West Java today, December 17. The party is currently holding a national conference that aims to strengthen the campaign team for the 2019 legislative and presidential election.
Based on the observation in the location, people continuously crowd the area and that cause congestion. Numbers of wing organizations of Gerindra Party are seen managing the traffic and the mass. They build a barricade to enter the SICC complex.
Several white tents and chairs have been lined up for guests before the SICC auditorium. The organizing committee installs screens to live broadcast the event from the inside of the building.
In SICC building, the mass has seated in the tribune area which has a capacity of 12,000 people. They dominantly wear a white shirt with cream pants, as well as cream hijab for women in a veil. In one corner of the tribune, a group of people wears a light blue shirt.
Gerindra patron chief Prabowo Subianto who is also a presidential hopeful invites his campaign team for the 2019 presidential election, the National Campaign Agency. His running mate, Sandiaga Uno, is also scheduled to present in the event.
Based on the copy of the invitation for the BPN of Prabowo - Sandiaga received by Tempo, guests are expected to present at 07:00 a.m. Organizing committee sets a dress code for BPN representatives which is a blue shirt and cream pants, and cream hijab for women, and that as many as 100 representatives of BPN are expected to meet the invitation.
The media team of Prabowo earlier releases today’s agenda of the presidential candidate number 02 is attending the internal and closed national conference of Gerindra Party.
