Intimate Image of Russian Gay Couple Wins World Press Photo

Mads Nissen, a Danish staff photographer for the Danish daily newspaper Politiken and represented by Panos Pictures, won the World Press Photo of the Year 2014 contest with this image of Jon and Alex, a gay couple, during an intimate moment in St. Petersburg, Russia.
