TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Indonesia Modification Expo (IMX) 2018 held on November 17 and 18 in Jakarta ended with success. Not only did the exhibition managed to bring together the state's modifications and aftermarket potentials, the IMX also recorded a transaction value of Rp3 billion.
On Monday, the IMX organizer told Bisnis that a locally-made body kit set, KARMA by Kiki Anugraha, was ordered seven times. The kit, which debuted at the IMX, was booked by consumers from foreign countries.
"We are pleased with the positive achievement of this first IMX. We saw many crowds, and the value of transaction was beyond expectations. Most importantly, there is also a lot of positive support from Indonesian modifiers who are interested in participating in the next IMX," IMX founder & project director Andre Mulyadi said.
He said that the next Indonesia Modification Expo in 2019 will be more interesting, bigger, more exciting and have a wider buzz.
"We believe that with the platform IMX acts as, the modification business in Indonesia will become a big industry," he remarked.
