“We strive to boost Regional Income (PAD) from tax sector by updating data of taxpayers (WP),” said Endra, head of regional tax division 1 of Depok Financial Agency (BKD), in Depok, Friday, November 9.

He mentioned that throughout 2016, the total number of restaurant taxpayer recorded at 420 and rose to 750 eateries in 2017.

According to Endra, the hike was due to increase in taxpayer's compliance rate and growth of culinary business in the region, as well as roles of tax employees who frequently reminded restaurant, hotel, or other business place owners to pay tax.
