TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - State-owned toll operator Jasa Marga dismissed rumors circulating on social media that mention different Trans-Java toll road tariffs.

Jasa Marga called on the public to check the fact regarding the toll road tariff with the official website.

“The official sources for information related to toll-road tariffs is the Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Ministry, the Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT), or the Toll Road Operator (BUJT),” said Jasa Marga’s spokesperson Dwimawan in a statement today.

Heru explained that based on official data on toll road tariffs per late April 2018, the Trans-Java toll road tariff from Jakarta-Surabaya is Rp351,000. The tariff applies from the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road to the Surabaya-Gempol and Kejapanan-Gempol toll roads.

The calculation based on the tariffs of toll roads that have been operational and managed by Jasa Marga and its affiliations. Meanwhilie, the tariffs of several toll roads that are still undergoing feasibility studies or under construction have not been set yet.
