Minister Declares Anti-Violence Against Women, Children Campaign

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Minister of Women Empowerment and Children Protection Yohana Yembise declared the national campaign of anti-violence against women and children.

“We declare this campaign along with related ministries,” Yohanna said after the launching of the campaign at Bung Karno stadium on Sunday (14/2).

According to the minister, violence against women and children has to be stopped form now.

She also said that her ministry would stay focused on guiding the campaign, along with other related ministries.

“Family plays an important role in protecting women and the monitoritung children’s growth,” Yohana said.

Therefore, she urged the people so share compassion to their children and to maintain communication between parents and children.
