TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency or BMKG forecasted a drizzle in several parts of Jakarta today, Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2024.
In the afternoon, medium rain will potentially fall over South and East Jakarta. A drizzle will greet West Jakarta and cloudy weather is expected in the central and north.
A drizzle will also greet Jakarta evenly this evening. "Beware of rain potential with lightning in South and East Jakarta this afternoon," BMKG warned on Tuesday.
Residents of buffer cities also need to anticipate the rain today. BMKG released an early warning for medium to heavy rain potential in several parts of Bogor Regency and City, as well as Depok City.
Bogor and Bepok are expected to have light to medium rain from the afternoon to evening. Meanwhile, a drizzle will occur in Tangerang City throughout the day.
Early warning from BMKG also announced a rain potential for South Tangerang. "Beware of medium to heavy rain potential with lightning and strong winds," it wrote.
