BMKG: No Rain Will Fall in Jakarta Today

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics (BMKG) forecasted that today, September 22, 2023, all of Jakarta will be partly cloudy all day. The cloud only breaks for Seribu Islands in the evening.
There is no potential for rain in Jakarta today, not even a drizzle. Meanwhile, the temperature will range from 24 to 33 degrees Celsius for West Jakarta, South Jakarta, and East Jakarta. In Central Jakarta, the temperature ranges from 25 to 30 degrees Celsius, and in Seribu Islands, 27 to 29 degrees Celsius.
The air quality in Jakarta this morning was at 157 level in the category of unhealthy. IQAir recorded a PM2.5 concentration of 67.4 micrograms per meter cubic, 13.5 times higher than what is recommended by the WHO.
Meanwhile, the air monitoring system by the Jakarta Environmental Office reported that all stations recorded air quality in Jakarta as medium this morning. Meaning, that the air quality does not affect human and animal health but will affect plants.
Weather forecast for the rest of Greater Jakarta
BMKG forecasted that all of Greater Jakarta will be partly cloudy this morning, except for Serpong (South Tangerang) which is estimated to be sunny. Clouds, however, will move to cover Serpong in the afternoon.
Cibingong (Bogor Regency), Depok, and Bogor City are predicted to be greeted by a drizzle in the afternoon. The weather will vary from cloudy and partly cloudy in the evening around this region.
