LPSK to Help Police with Gay Prostitution Ring`s Victims

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Head of the Witness Protection Institute (LPSK) Abdul Haris Semendawai said that they will help the police in dealing with the victims of gay prostitution ring. "We are ready to support the police," he said.
He added that the kind of support that LPSK provides is counseling, so that the rights of the victims are protected. "It will lead to solving the case," he said.
Haris said that the kids suffer medical and psychological trauma. If not restored, he fears that it will disturb the child's psychology.
Moreover, LPSK is set to facilitate the victim's psychosocial right, including a cooperation with the Education Ministry. "It is expected that the victims can live their life normally and properly again," he said.
