House to Pass Jakarta Special Region Bill Today

TEMPO.CO, JakartaThe House of Representatives (DPR) was set to hold a plenary meeting today, March 28, to deliberate on the passage of two bills. The session will take place at the Nusantara II Building in the Senayan Parliament Complex. 

Referring to the meeting invitation document sent by the Secretariat General of the DPR, the two bills that will be ratified today are the bill on the Jakarta Special Region (DKJ) and the bill on the second amendment to Law No. 6 of 2014 concerning Villages.

Both had previously been discussed by the DPR and received approval in the first-level discussion at the DPR.

Apart from making decisions on the DKJ Bill and the Revision of the Village Law, the DPR will also discuss six other agendas during the plenary session which will kick-start at 09:30 WIB (Western Indonesia Time).
