TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Democrat Party chairman Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono or SBY conveyed his suggestions for the presidential hopeful Prabowo Subianto.
Through a post on his Twitter account, responding to a tweet posted by Gerindra party secretary-general Ahmad Muzani related to the support of the Democratic party to Prabowo, SBY said that he never blamed and forced a chairman of supporting party to campaign him during his two times as a presidential candidate.
“In the election, the most determinant factor is the presidential candidate, who is the superstar. A presidential candidate must have proper narration and campaign style,” said the former Indonesian President on his Twitter account.

According to SBY, the public was currently willing to hear solutions, policies, and programs that the presidential candidate would be implemented for the next five years.
“If the vision and mission [of candidate] are not disclosed, not only the public who will be confused but also the supporting parties. It is better for all to have self-evaluation or introspection,” said SBY.
SBY further mentioned that not a single political party without a presidential candidate in this simultaneous election did not prioritize its party.
“If only the Democrat party that is continued to be hassled, Democrat cadres do not have to be upset and discouraged. Go on. We are never bothering other parties,” Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) concluded.
