TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) searched the Lippo Group office in Kelapa Dua, Tangerang, following the Meikarta bribery case.
“KPK team is still at the location,” said KPK spokesman Febri Diansyah, Wednesday, October 17.
KPK suspected that the Lippo Group Operational Director Billy Sindoro and three of his subordinates bribed five state officials in Bekasi Regency to achieve the permit for the Meikarta project.

The officials are the Bekasi Regent Neneng Hasanah Yasin, the Head of the Bekasi Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Jamaludin, Head of the Fire Department Sahat MBJ Nahor, Head of the Investment and One-stop Integrated Service (DPMPTSP) office Dewi Tisnawati, and Head of Spatial Planning of the PUPR Office Neneng Rahmi, who has been named as suspects by the KPK.
The Meikarta bribery case was revealed from the sting operation conducted by KPK in Bekasi and Surabaya on October 14-15. KPK arrested 10 people and seized S$90,000 and Rp513 million.
