TEMPO.CO, Bogor - President Joko Widodo or Jokowi gave a special gift to the head of Data, Information and Public Relations Center of the National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB), Sutopo Purwo Nugroho, after both met at the Bogor Presidential Palace, Friday, October 5.
Jokowi gave a photo showing both of them talking and signed it with a message for Sutopo. “Stay inspiring,” wrote Jokowi. Jokowi said he was amazed at Sutopo's dedication to his profession as a source of information for the public in during disastrous events despite suffering from stage 4B lung cancer.

“I think this really inspires us all, that in his sick condition, he is still dedicated to and enthusiastic about the work that he has done for years,” said Jokowi.
Sutopo, meanwhile, could not hide his happiness. According to him, the photo album from Jokowi became the most beautiful gift before his birthday on October 7. “This is a very extraordinary blessing,” Sutopo said.
