JK to Monitor Quake, Tsunami Aftermath Mitigation in Palu Today

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Vice President Jusuf Kalla or JK is scheduled to depart to Palu, Central Sulawesi, this morning, October 5. He will monitor the mitigation process of the earthquake and tsunami in the disaster-hit regions.
JK will board in presidential aircraft Bae-RJ 85 from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base. Central Sulawesi Governor and regional officials will welcome Kalla in Mutiara SIS Al-Jufrie Airport.
According to Vice Presidential spokesman Husain Abdullah in a written statement Friday, JK will meet the victims who are being treated in Wirabuana Hospital, East Palu Sub-district and then leave to the national housing complex (Perumnas) Balaroa.

The vice president who is also the commander of disaster mitigation team in Central Sulawesi will also visit a Dhikr Forum Nurul Khairat in Kabonena and perform Friday prayer there.
In the afternoon, Kalla will tour to Wani Village, Tanatopea, Donggala Regency and Pantoloan Sea Port, Tawaeli Sub-District.
After the monitoring, JK will lead the coordination meeting on disaster mitigation in Disaster Mitigation Post Korem 132/Tadulako.
Accompanying Jusuf Kalla during the monitoring of disaster mitigation in Central Sulawesi are the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs Wiranto, Social Minister Agus Gumiwang, Public Work and Housing Minister Basuki Hadimuljono.
