Sandiaga Uno to File Police Report against Ratna Sarumpaet

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Coordinator of president and vice president candidates Prabowo–Sandiaga, Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak, said Sandiaga Uno would report Ratna Sarumpaet to the police upon the hoax that she made viral recently. 

“Our VP hopeful Sandiaga will file a police report to the police and let police process [Ratna Sarumpaet],” said Dahnil in South Jakarta, Wednesday, October 3. 

The Prabowo-Sandiaga coalition legal team, which consists of Gerindra Party board member Habiburokhman and Gerindra’s Deputy Chief Sufmi Dasco Ahmad are currently preparing the report.

According to Dahnil, the presidential candidacy coalition was deeply disappointed by what Ratna had done, considering that she was appointed by the coalition as a campaign spokeswoman. However, Ratna was recently dropped from the team based on Prabowo Subianto’s request.

Previously, Ratna Sarumpaet reported to Prabowo Subianto and Amien Rais upon an assault she experienced. A photo of her face that was fully bruised had gone viral after the issue came to light. 

However, Ratna Sarumpaet publicly admitted that it was all a lie and that she made up the story to hide the fact that she underwent a cosmetic surgery at the Bina Estetika Hospital in Menteng, Central Jakarta.
