TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko Widodo or Jokowi targets the Indonesian contingent to reach the top eight at the 2018 Asian Para Games which will be held early next month.
“We hope that in the 2018 Asian Para Games, Indonesia can meet my target, which is top eight," said Jokowi at the GBK Arena Complex, Jakarta, Thursday, September 27.
Jokowi is optimistic about his target because he has reviewed a number of athletes’ practice.

“I saw badminton, shooting, this time I saw the practice and hard work of sitting volleyball athletes,” he said.
When reviewing, Jokowi was accompanied by Minister of Youth and Sports Imam Nahrawi, Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, and Chairman of the 2018 Asian Para Games Organizing Committee (INAPGOC) Raja Sapta Okto.
The 2018 Asian Para Games will be held in Jakarta. 18 sports for people with disability are located in 19 arenas. 8 arenas are in the GBK Senayan, while the other 11 are spread from Ancol to Sentul.
