INAPGOC: 2018 Asian Para Games Not Just about Achievement

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Deputy Chairman of the 2018 Asian Para Games Organizing Committee (INAPGOC) Sylviana Murni said that the success of the event was not just measured by the achievement.
“Our hope is actually not just to gain the achievement, but more to introduce inspirational stories to the people of Indonesia. INAPGOC also wants to show the world that Indonesia is a country that is friendly to people with disabilities,” Sylviana said in Jakarta, Wednesday, September 26.
It is shown by the provision of public facilities in the arena of matches, lodging and public places that can be easily accessed by people with disabilities.

“We've tried hard even though it was not perfect yet. We provide temporary facilities for people with disabilities at the GBK arena,” said the former Mayor of Central Jakarta.
The 2018 Asian Para Games will be held in Jakarta. A total of 18 games for people with disabilities will be held in 19 arenas. Eight sports arenas are located in the GBK Senayan, while the other 11 locations are spread from Ancol to Sentul.
