TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - National Campaign Team of Indonesian Working Coalition (TKN KIK) deputy chairman Johnny G. Plate said Jokowi coalition had already prepared the special bank account for campaign funds (RKDK) from province to city/district level.
“The bank accounts are ready,” said Plate in Cemara Post, Jakarta, Wednesday, September 19.
Based on General Election Commission (KPU) Regulation No. 29/2018 on campaign fund, the opening of bank account should be done at least a day before the campaign period started which was slated on September 23.
The initial report of campaign funds (LADK) comprised of RKDK, initial balance, the source of funds, details of revenues and expenses before LADK submission, donation, and tax ID of the candidates should be reported the day before the campaign period.
Earlier Jokowi campaign team's treasurer Sakti Wahyu Trenggono said the source of campaign fund would be from individual, corporation, and public assistance. The coalition, Trenggano said, would advertise the bank account number and establish entrepreneurs gathering to earn the donation. “The gathering will take place after we complete all the administrative matters,” he added.
Based on KPU regulation, the maximum of campaign funds used for the presidential election from companies or non-governmental firms set at Rp25 billion, while from a personal source was limited at Rp2.5 billion at most.
