TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesia 2018 Asian Para Games Organizing Committee (Inapgoc) will parade the torch to welcome the biggest disabled sports event in Asia, in eight cities.
The fire for the torch will be taken from a source of eternal fire at Mrapen, Grobogan. Furthermore, it will be stored in a lantern and paraded in Solo. At the peak event of the National Sports Day in Ternate, the fire will be ignited on the torch.
The Asian Para Games torch has a special design. The color is golden yellow with a weight of 1.9 kilograms. “The color is the same as the lantern used to store the Mrapen’s fire,” said Ageng Nugroho, Inapgoc Ceremonial Division, Tuesday night September 4.
