TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The president director of state-owned energy holding company PT Pertamina, Nicke Widyawati, was tight-lipped when asked why she failed to meet a summons by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).
“Out of context,” Nicke Widyawati said after inspecting the realization of the government's regulation to mix fuel with 20 percent biodiesel or B20 at Kuningan gas station in Jakarta on Monday, September 3.
The KPK summoned Nicke today for questioning about her role when she served as the strategic procurement director of state electricity company PLN. The KPK also sought to quiz Nicke for information on the alleged bribery case surrounding the PLTU Riau-1 steam power plant project.

Nicke would be examined as a witness for Idrus Marham, whom the KPK named as the third suspect in the case.
“The witness in question will be examined in her capacity as the director of PLN,” said KPK spokesman Febri Diansyah today.
This is the first time the Pertamina president director is scheduled for questioning by KPK.
