4 Items That Should Not Be Worn at Airport

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - You should have tricks to simplify the complicated departure process at the airport so you can travel quickly, one of them is when passing the security check.

As reported by the HerWorld Plus, here are four items that should be avoided to wear when traveling by plane.

1. Metal-made accessories

Including belts that use metal hooks, jewelry, chains, and even pins. Put these items in a locked transparent bag so that the security officer can easily check it. You can also ask to do private screening if you carry the jewelry that is very expensive, to avoid pickpockets.

2. Big-size clothes

Wide-cut skirts or thick pants are the targets when the officer conducts the pat down, checking all parts of your body using hands or detecting devices.

If it looks big, the officer will make sure whether you hide something or not behind your clothes. Wear simple clothes like shirts and jeans.

3. Provocative clothes

The clothes that are too minimal, shirts with slogans or offending images will attract security officers. This is very likely to happen if you travel to countries that are very religious and have strict laws about clothes. In fact, the airlines may have the rights to refuse anyone wearing obscene or outrageously insulting clothes.

4. Complex shoes

This is the simplest item. In Singapore, you can get away with removing shoes if you wear ballerina flat or open-toe shoes. But the security permits vary in each country, a sneaker is the best choice.
