TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The ride-hailing company Go-Jek said it would comply with the government`s regulation by forming a subsidiary that runs in transportation affairs. Go-Jek Chief Corporate Affair Nila Marita said her office saw the policy was being finalized considering a slight change might affect its partners.
“As a company, we will follow the government’s rules, but it requires a thorough study,” said Nila, Tuesday, August 14.
Transportation Ministry’s Head of Sub-Directorate of People Transportation, Syafrin Liputo, said the regulation took a long time to be issued because of the changes on its form. Initially, the policy was a derivation of Ministerial Decree No. 108/2017.
