TEMPO.CO, Tangerang - State-owned airport operator Angkasa Pura II (AP II) has set to operate Digital Airport Hotel or capsule hotel in Terminal 3 of Soekarno-Hatta Airport on August 10.
The first Indonesian capsule hotel themed Futuristic Space-Ship is equipped with many facilities. “All modern facilities,” said the airport’s Communication and Legal Branch Senior Manager, Febri Toga Simatupang, today, August 1.
Among the facilities are access card, TV cable, high-quality bed and pillow, blanket, 2 USB charging port.
“It has complete facilities, cable TV with approximately 50 channels is provided in each capsule, free Wi-Fi, USB charger Port, sharing shower area with cold/hot water, a small compartment to store handy carry stuff for the aircraft cabin, adequate amenities such as 2 in 1 body shampoo, dental kit, towel, slipper, and 1 complimentary water bottle,” Febri explained.
In addition, two kinds of pod hotel are offered. “We have two types of room; Alpha and Beta. The difference is in the TV size. In Alpha type, it’s 22-inch TV with mini-portable table, while in Beta type, it’s 32-inch TV without a mini-portable table,” he added.
The rental fee is pretty affordable. “The published rate of the two types is Rp375,00 per night and Rp250,000 per 6 hours. But the capsule hotel can only accommodate one adult, except along with children below 5 years old,” Febri said.
Febri further explained that the capsule hotel in Soekarno-Hatta airport is suitable for those passengers who worry to miss the morning flight and those who seek a place during transit while waiting for the next flight in the airport.
