Asian Games: U-23 National Team to Face Timor Leste in Bali

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesian U-23 national team, which prepared for the 2018 Asian Games, will undergo an international test match against Timor Leste on 11 August. The match will be held at Wayan Dipta Stadium I, Gianyar, Bali.
Wayan Dipta Stadium is also the location of the final concentration of the U-23 national team before competing in the Asian Games. The test match against Timor Leste is the last international match for the U-23 national team in preparation for the 2018 Asian Games.
Previously, the team coached by Luis Milla Aspas has been involved in several international test matches since the beginning of 2018. It has been facing strong teams like Uzbekistan, Bahrain and North Korea at the 2018 PSSI Anniversary Cup tournament. It has also against South Korea and met with fellow Southeast Asian countries such as Singapore and Thailand.
As a result, Indonesia achieved one win from Singapore, a draw from Uzbekistan, North Korea and Thailand (in the second meeting), then lost to Bahrain, South Korea and Thailand (in the first meeting).
Of the seven matches, the U-23 national team recorded a pretty slick incision with just conceded five goals and managed to make five goals.
At the 2018 Asian Games, PSSI target the U-23 national team can enter the semifinals.
