KPK Nabs Inneke Koesherawati in Sting Opt at Sukamiskin Prison

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) nabbed Sukamiskin Prison head, Wahid Husen. An issue circulated among reporters, the anti-graft body also examined Indonesian artist Inneke Koesherawati for allegedly involved in the sting operation.
KPK spokesperson Febri said he could not provide details regarding the sting operation in Sukamiskin penitentiary. However, he said, “a corruption inmate and his wife are arrested by the team.” Febri also remained non-committal to mention the names since KPK investigation was still afoot.

According to Febri, KPK sealed one of the prison cells. “Because the inmate is not there,” he said on Saturday, July 21.
Meanwhile, the anti-graft body confirmed it nabbed the prison head Wahid Husen during the sting operation of Sukamiskin Prison, Bandung. “Six persons, including prison head and private individuals, are taken to KPK,” said KPK deputy chief Laode Muhammad Syarif on July 21.
Laode said his office confiscated money in cash and foreign exchange as well as one car as the evidence. According to Laode, KPK has 24 hours to determine the legal status of the arrested people.
