After Prabowo, Jokowi and JK Visit SBY at the Hospital

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and Vice President Jusuf Kalla (JK) visited the former President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) at the Gatot Subroto Army Central Hospital (RSPAD), Central Jakarta, Thursday, July 19. They are accompanied by the First Lady Iriana and wife of Vice President, Mufidah.

Jokowi and JK left for the hospital after attending the inauguration of TNI and Police officers at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta. Jokowi arrived around 10:00 pm. They are in the care room of SBY for 15 minutes.

Jokowi said SBY condition is now healthier. “We pray together that Pak SBY will recover soon,” he said.

JK said SBY is sick because of fatigue. “(Mostly) spending (time) out of town,” he said.

Chairman of the Public Communication Division of the Democrat Party Imelda Sari earlier said that SBY was treated at RSPAD since Tuesday, July 17. The Democrat Party Chairman was exhausted after returning from Pacitan and Yogyakarta on Monday, July 16.

“The Presidential Doctors Team ordered Pak SBY to take a bed rest for several days,” he said, Wednesday, July 18.

Previously, Gerindra Party Chairman Prabowo Subianto also had visited SBY at the RSPAD.
