TEMPO.CO, Medan - University of North Sumatra (USU) is still open the opportunity for the prospective students to follow the entrance selection of the independent admissions by extending the registration period until July 12.
Head of Public Relations of USU, Elvi Sumanti said the extension period of registration for entrance selection is an opportunity that should be utilized well by alumni of Senior/Vocational, especially those who have not been lucky to be accepted through SNMPTN (State Universities Entrance National Selection) and SBMPTN (State Universities Entrance Selection).
The entrance selection through the independent admissions can be done online on http://penerimaan.usu.ac.id which began from 20 June to 12 July. “Admissions fee is set at Rp500,000 that can be paid through Bank BNI,” said Elvi on Tuesday, July 10.
The participant card printing is scheduled from June 20 to July 14. While the written exam will be held on July 15, the results will be announced on July 22.
The selection of independent admissions is the last chance or last selection to become the undergraduate students at USU, which has been done through SNMPTN and SBMPTN. “Through the independent admissions, if still not lucky to qualify as a student at USU, then they can re-try in the Diploma Program Admissions (SPMPD),” said Elvi.
For the SPMPD, online registration can be done via http://penerimaan.usu.ac.id from July 3 to July 25. The selection fee determined by the committee, divided into two categories, namely for Science/Social at Rp200,000 and IPC at Rp250,000 which can be paid through Bank BNI.
The participant card printing will take place from 3 July to 26 July. While the implementation of the SPMD written exam will be conducted on July 29, and the results will be announced on 1 August.
